Tauranga Moana Seafood Festival 2009
The rain came and went during our 2009 Festival, however that did not put a damper on the spirits of our festive patrons. Many brought with them their raincoats and umbrellas, and sought shelter under the Cargo Shed or Trident marquees.
We had a large line up of first class entertainment featuring The Patea Maori Club that drew a large mass of the crowd, stunning Anna Hawkins singing a mixture of jazz and genres, Triple J had patrons on their feet, dancing on the Fresh Fish Market wharf, Tauranga’s local recording artist Regan pumped the stage, 3’s Company entertained our VIP’s with their sweet voices, Inzpire Dance company added a touch of theatre to the outdoors, DJ Campbell & Ngata mixed up soundz down by the Blue Shed and finally rock/roots band dDub on our Maui main stage, rocked the crowd to the end.
Thank you to all our festival guests, our stallholders that cooked up a delicious variety of dishes, our fabulous entertainment, all our event staff, to our sponsors that supported this event, and finally to Caryn & Kimi who worked endlessly and voluntary to make it all happen.
